Abortion: Revealed

1984, Marvin Gaye, sr., shot and killed his son singer/songwriter Marvin Gaye, jr.,  and was sentenced to prison. I said at that time, eventually, he will be released or acquitted under the defense that he was only preforming a 183rd tri-mester, post-natal, abortion.

People, understandably, laughed. "It will never happen, because abortions are preformed before the birth." 

I said, " It won't matter. Somebody will be aquitted for killing their child after it was born." Then came Casey Anthony. The responsibility for the 2 yr old child's death went unpunished.

Abortion is about convenience. It always was, it always will be.

"Convenience killing" is nothing new. The taking of another life has been practiced all throughout history. Sometimes, a War has been a way of getting rid of a spouse in favor of marrying another. We have seen that in leaders of the past.

We saw that in the killing of Jesus Christ after He became a threat to the establishment in Rome.

A human life is precious and unique. A human is the only species which is able to take the entire accumulation of his life and pass it on to the next generation and learn from and add to that knowledge. As we have found in recent generations, we seem to be the only species to reject some of that accumulated knowledge, as well.

Abortion has been legal in the Untied States since the Supreme Court ruled on Roe vs. Wade in 1973, and it has resulted in millions of deaths each year, following that decision.

Since that time, we have debated life and death from the "Womb to the Tomb". If we can legally end a life before it "officially" starts, to when it "chemically" dies.

In 2005, Terri Schiavo was removed from artificial and man made equipment after years following an overdose of "partying". I observed, at that time, she was the bridge between the young, with abortion, and the old, as  in legalized "assisted" suicide. If she was allowed to die, then that would complete the bridge and we could never again consider ourselves a Nation in favor of life.

We now have two generations which have been born since the RvW, the citizens in favor of killing their kids before they are born are accepted and thought of as it is their "choice".

When does that "choice" end?

It won't, as long as the understanding and the value of  life is not accepted by another person. Every choice is an action and responsibility for the action and reaction is has to be accepted by the person making the choice.
